Help Us Name the Sunfish!
The recent addition of this interactive art piece at the Great River Landing is in need of a name, and we’re asking our community for help. Submit your best name idea for a chance to win the $100 Grand Prize and name the Rockin’ Sunfish!
Timeline:
September 1st: Formally announce the Rockin’ Sunfish Naming Contest.
September 15th: Naming submissions end at 12:00pm.
September 18th: The top 5 name submissions are selected by a team of City staff and members of OAK.
September 22nd: The top 5 names are announced, and voting for the winning name begins. (Top 5 names will be announced on Facebook, and voting will occur using a Google form).
October 6th @ 12:00pm – Voting will close.
October 7th : Mayor will announce the winning name at the Pumpkin & Pint event hosted by Onalaska Art Keepers.
