In 2020, a dedicated group of locals initiated Onalaska Art Keepers (OAK), a vibrant arts collective driven by the vision of enhancing our city’s cultural landscape. With determination and passion, we united, established our 501(c)3 status, and embarked on a transformative journey to enrich our community with an array of arts and cultural initiatives. Join us as we continue to grow, curate, and celebrate the creative spirit within our beloved city.

We have added interactive art, a mural, supported area students and adult artists through a summer art event, and much more!

Our mission statement:

We started our first project in spring of 2021 to bring some “joy and fun” to our region after the pandemic. We’ve continued our direction to bring happy art…nothing controversial….to our community and hope it is enjoyed by all of the Coulee Region.
